post.php popup box…save as

    Hello 🙂

    When I post an article, or edit one, WordPress waits a bit then a “Save as..” dialogue box appears asking me if I want to save post.php.

    Although the article does get posted, or edited, if I click cancel my question is this – is this a performance issue with my web host or a WordPress bug?

    Or pingomatic being too slow? Try removing pingomatic from your Options -> Writing “Update Services” and see if that doesn’t speed things up.

    i have the same problem, I removed pingomatic, problem still occurs
