 * Hi,
 * I had a WP site with a old WP version (2.9.2) where I set as custom permalink/%
   postname%
    I updated version to 3.5.1 and set permalink like this /%postname%/
   Now two questions: 1) do you think they are or shall I prefer one version? 2)
   can this change generate SEO issues? seems to me that permalinks are auto-redirected
   by wp so I guess there should not be any issue.
 * Thanks
 * Andrea

 * Fortunately, this won’t cause any 310 redirect issues.
 * However, this will cause SEO issues in the sense that your old URL is no longer
   valid, and the engines will have to reindex your new URLs. While the redirect
   should handle this, there’s no guarantee as to how long it will take to happen.
   There may be a lapse in the time that your old URLs disappear from rankings and
   your new ones appear.
