# Postname problem

 * Hello
 * My permalinks are set to postname but when I create a new post (draft or scheduled)
   and I look at them in view or preview they show a number and not the title/name
   I have given them. It seems to have changed to the proper name today when it 
   goes live, but earlier this week it wasn’t changing to the proper name when live.
 * What can I do? It makes it impossible to schedule tweets etc in advance to promote
   the post…

 * When you’re adding a post, put the title in first. If you put in content and 
   the system does an autosave, it may use a number as the slug instead of the post
   name.
