I think I already know the answer to this but I’ll ask anyway. I’ve got a client who has 2 different businesses. He has Facebook pages for both businesses and they are both in his same Facebook account.

I have installed Jetpack on both business websites and connected to all social media properties (FB, Twitter, LinkedIn and Tumblr). Note: for all but FB I’ve created unique logins. When I connect FB for site A I choose the FB page for that business. I do the same for site B. In Jetpack when I connect I see and choose the correct FB page relative to each website.

When a post gets published, however, I notice the posts from site A show up on the Facebook page for site B (and vice versa). I’ve made sure to log out of ALL social media accounts but there is still this discrepancy with Facebook.

Is there any solution to this or is this inherently problematic because I’m dealing with 2 companies owned by the same person with one FB account?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

This is indeed the case, Jetpack doesn’t allow you to publish to multiple pages from a single account, but you can add a new connection to a different Facebook account from within the same Jetpack connection.
