I’ve tried this numerous ways. First off this client is using thesis, so I’m trying to avoid doing this on the back end as I’m already underpaid. I tried a usual form, mimicing the original data fields from wp-login.php.
You’ll see the input names match the original wp-login.php, the thing is, when I send the data with the form, i have to effectively login again on wp-login.php page.
So my question is, is there something I’m missing? My client doesn’t want a custom wp-login.php. Can we not just use another form on the site (same wp installation) and login from there?
