Posting new posts on more than one page?

    Hi, I’m sorry if this has already been a resolved question. I am really, really new to all of this and I have a hard time figuring things out sometimes. My question is: can you post new posts onto separate pages of your website? I tried making a child page of the page I have set to be the one that gets posted on, but that didn’t work. If it is possible, are my new posts going to be posted on both post pages or can I define and control which posts I want on which page? And would I be able to transfer posts that are already posted to my post page to the new post page?

    I’m sorry if that’s really confusing because of all the post/posted/posting words, but like I said, I’m so new to this. Thank you in advance, if you can help me. I appreciate it.

    Hi,

    You can use Categories or Tags pages:

    1. In Categories or Tags you might add first the terms you want to use as site pages/sections.

    In your Dashboard > Posts > Categories
    In your Dashboard > Posts > Tags

    2. Now in Posts section, you can add any post, to one or more categories or tags. So same post will be available in multiple categories/tags sections

    3. Now in Dashboard > Appearance > Menu
    you might create Site Menu pages for linking to your Tags or Categories and all those posts you file in those categories and tags will now be avaiablel on those menu pages.

    Yes those directions are great, but I had found a video on YouTube that explained it all to me. So, I have already conquered the categories mystery. 🙂
