 * When I try posting a link for a new blog or a new video for my site out to face
   book, all the information and picture from a older post is displayed. I even
   removed the old stuff and still it shows when trying to post.
 * I did try several different plug ins that were supposed to solve this problem
   to no avail
 * How do I get the post to show the image I want and the correct description of
   the material I want to share?
 * Thanks for the help

 * Would you please give us the URLs of 2 posts with the problem, to use for testing
   to track down the problem?

 * Is Facebook showing the wrong image only, but the post you’re sharing is correct?
 * I believe this is a Facebook issue, you need to use [Open Graph Tags](http://ogp.me/)
   to help Facebook pickup the correct image, which you can do using the [Yoast SEO](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/)
   plugin.
 * Here is a quick guide that may help you:
    [How to specify open graph tags](https://www.sangfroidwebdesign.com/web-design/facebook-share-image-is-wrong/#specify-open-graph-tags)
 * Hope this helps.

    I did a post of a
   youtube video a few days ago about a trucker responding to BLM. Now everything
   I try to post picks up the info I used for that post and places that on FB ….
 * ALso the image for the post I can not get to change. It shows my background image
   and if I change that image, the post image remains the same.
 * I will look into Open Graph tags

 * Ok, so taking a look at your most recent post then [http://www.headtrucker.com/todays-thoughts-31911-job/](http://www.headtrucker.com/todays-thoughts-31911-job/)
 * There are no images on this post, and nothing is providing an og:image tag in
   source, probably rightfully so.
 * When I attempt to share it on Facebook, the result is: [http://d.pr/i/17smU/5L6jyry6](http://d.pr/i/17smU/5L6jyry6)
 * Moving on to your second post: [http://www.headtrucker.com/is-it-show-time-again/](http://www.headtrucker.com/is-it-show-time-again/)
 * There is a small image here, it’s [http://i1.wp.com/www.headtrucker.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/CAM00394.jpg?zoom=2&resize=100%2C100](http://i1.wp.com/www.headtrucker.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/CAM00394.jpg?zoom=2&resize=100%2C100)
   as the image was inserted to be constrained to a 100 x 100 pixel space.
 * Your og:image tag is provided by Yoast SEO as:
 * `<meta property="og:image" content="http://www.headtrucker.com/wp-content/uploads/
   2016/07/CAM00394-100x100.jpg" />`
 * The report from Facebook is:
 * > Provided og:image URL, [http://www.headtrucker.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/CAM00394-100×100.jpg](http://www.headtrucker.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/CAM00394-100×100.jpg)
   > was not valid because it did not meet the minimum size constraint of 200px
   > by 200px.
 * screenshot: [http://d.pr/i/1aHbp/4dbtyBqd](http://d.pr/i/1aHbp/4dbtyBqd)
 * When I attempt to share it via Facebook, the result is: [http://d.pr/i/JlJG/525RiD27](http://d.pr/i/JlJG/525RiD27)
 * In this case, I recommend ensuring that images provided in the post are always
   inserted at least 200 x 200 pixels large. To simplify that, always use at least
   the Medium option when inserting an image.

   get back soon when I have had a chance to go through it all
