• Hello all,
I just installed the latest wordpress and I am having issues when publishing more than 6 posts. Each time I attempt to publish a new post the prior seems to come up and the prior gets over-written with the latest changes. I have checked both Writing and Reading settings and the problem still exists. Are there settings for the number of posts in a given day?

    Thanks
    Rick

    No

The prior what? Post? What menu option are you using in the Admin area to create new posts?

I have checked both Writing and Reading settings

What settings? There are a number of both Writing and Reading Settings.

Yes, for now I am creating the new posts in the admin panel (Posts -> add new). The prior post that was published would get over-written when I created a new post (> 6 posts). The Reading setting (Blog pages show at most) I changed it to 400. The (Syndication feeds show the most recent) was set to 400.

The posts don’t get over-written. They just get pushed down the page until, eventually, they end up on page 2 – then page 3 etc.

    Site url?

Ah, found the problem … it is the new firefox 3.5.4pre or commonly known as Shiretoko. I tried this in Opera and it publishes the posts without a problem.
