# Posting IRC logs

 * I’m trying to post some IRC logs in WordPress.
    the use of brackets makes this
   impossible, because they are automagically removed.
 * When I use ASCII codes, or use an editor to change the log into a syntax that
   should work on websites and forums (i got a link to such a thing in these forums)
   I have no luck either.
    When I preview or edit the post, the brackets will again
   be removed (along with the name that was between them).
 * I tried using several of the code-highlight plugins, and similar plugins, that
   should allow you to post programming code.
    Again, when I preview or edit a post,
   it is gone. Again.
 * Why is this?
 * How can I post IRC logs / quotes on my blog?
