Posting images along with text and link

Hi,

Has anybody been able to post an image along with the text and image to twitter and facebook? If you have, please do outline how it’s done.

With people engaging much more with photos in comparison to just thumbnail previews on facebook, it would be great to be able to post an image when posting a blog post to facebook.

I’ve tried posting the text and link directly onto facebook, with an image, but then no comments get pulled back into the blog by the Social plugin
