try copying the comments.php/comments-popup.php from the classic theme over to whatever theme you’re using?

Nope, still not working. And now there is a comment form underneath EVERY ONE of the posts on my main index page!!! Gosh this is screwing everything up!
EDIT: OK, I copied my old templpate back.. then disabled the spam plugin.. now it is letting you post comments, but they are all default to being moderated and I have to approve them. I’m going to play around with some settings.
check to see if comments are now going into moderation.
admin panel->manage-> awaiting moderation
as for the comments showing up on all the posts, that just means you’re including your comments inside the post loop which is why it’s showing up on all the posts i believe? can you post your code for the index.php file?

Thanks lawtai – I disabled the spam plugin and all comments NOW are going straight into moderation… but at least they’re being posted now haha. I noticed you testing them out. Thanks!
as far as moderation, check admin panel-> options-> discussion and just make sure you have none of the checkboxes marked in the “before a comment can appear section, and make sure that you leave “Allow people to post comments on the article” checked.
also make sure that you don’t have any spaces/enters in your comment moderation box.
