We just upgraded to Word Press 2.0 and slightly off the subject here, it is just great! The interface seems so much better and we can't wait to move our news/information publishing to the new version. We have to re-integrate the Google Maps feature back into it but that's later.
Anyhow, we decided to try doing posts via email. This is a feature we have not looked at for a while and thought we would give it a try.
However, it does not seem to work so well. Here are the two problems.
First, we tried emailing an HTML message to it. Well after it is processed and posted we get this goofy "equal signs" ("=") in the text of the message. Not so cool.
So we thought maybe a "text" format message would work. Well that is goofy also because you get the "forced line breaks" in there that in most cases leaves every other line with only one word on it.
So a) what are we doing wrong? b) Is this broken?
