Posting 1 post into 2 databases

Basically I am in the process of making a network of blogs for a major project. Each blog is in its own subdirectory and has its own database. I need to keep it like this so that each blog has its own area and can’t upset anybody else’s blog. However I would like to have a master site that displayed the latest info about all the blogs. I could import info about each blog on a page by page basis, but it would get very messy very quickly.

I would like to know if its possible when writing a post for it to be added to 2 databases. 1 will be the personal blog. The second will be master blog with all the info. This way use the data in the master blog as if it was added in personally.
