I’m sorry, but I don’t know what this is called.
I’m using a custom video and audio html formating.

When I upload a video I would like it to go to the custom setting but it stays on the simple_link. Yes I saved the settings. And Settings are set to custom when I change page and come back. I used:

    <video src=”{FILELINK}” controls=”controls” width=”580″ height=”326″>Your browser does not support the video tag</video>

And it shows the preview correctly as it should be but it just won’t apply to my emails with attached .mov videos.

    Anyone ?

Any more news on this ?

Also, I realized that even though my email is in the “allowed” to post list, one line at a time, it’s only the email on top that’s allowed to post.

I’m working my way through the code making sure everything is up to snuff.

Thanks for the heads-up on the “Authorized Addresses” issue.

These issues have been fixed in 1.4.9

By the way, the authorized emails still don’t work.
My email in first position works but not the one in third position.
I’m puting one email per line, no commas or dots or anything in between

    Doesn’t seem to work
I’m posting a movie and I’m expecting this
    <video src=”{FILELINK}” controls=”controls” width=”580″ height=”326″>Your browser does not support the video tag</video>

    But I got this

    <img src=’http://xxx.yyy.com/wp-content/plugins/postie/icons/white/default-48.png’ alt=’mov icon’ />IMG_6406.mov

It saw it as an image. Maybe it’s looking at IMG and deciding it’s an image ?

Postie only has the mime types supplied by the email to work with. If the mime type is wrong Postie won’t do the right thing.

If you have a sample please send it to postie-test@devzing.com and I will see what is going on.
