Postie makes it easy and an app helps

I’ve used postie for a couple years now and it is a fantastic plug-in. I have set up multiple websites so department heads and sales people can send their email and photo to Postie and specify a Category so the new post shows up on a specific web page. As easy as that seems, I recently found a free app making software called MIT App Inventor. It’s visual with almost no code. It currently only works with Android but they are expanding it to Apple. I made an app that lets the user select a button to define the category and then they click the Take Picture button. The app then takes you to an email with the Category and Destination email already filled out. They then attach the image and can add additional text if they wish. Send the email and it’s ready for Postie to take over. A non-tech person can easily take pictures, add text and then email it to Postie. This makes updating a web site so very easy.
