Postie has made 1000’s of identical posts

    I just got a warning that my site is using far more bandwidth than expected.

    I log into the site to find thousands upon thousands of identical posts

    What in the word is going on?

    Are you by chance using pop3 and not deleting the emails?

    Postie has always deleted the emails in the past. You can see that many of these have identical timestamps on the posts –even if the email isn’t deleting, the email isn’t duplicating.

    I just went through and

    • Deleted all duplicate posts
    • Deleted all abandoned images (every post had a duplicate image)
    • Verified that there were no unread emails in the pop account.

    Sorry for the extra work. Not sure why the old version worked diffently.
