# “posted by” customizing

 * On the blog where it says “Posted By”…where can i edit each post’s author. I 
   want each post to say “Posted By” and then each post have a different user name.
 * On a side note, how can I edit the URL of the archives? The default link is missing
   a / . If i add the slash manually in the URL it works. Thanks!

 * If you don’t want to show the real user names, I suggest saving whatever “user
   name” you want into each post’s custom fields using a field name like ‘__username’
   and then editing the template to show this very custom field (see Codex to learn
   how to query them) instead of the real post author.

 * I’ve searched the Codex custom fields, but am unsure of where to put the new 
   php. Any ideas?
