Respectfully, I am trying to reopen this topic because I feel it was hasty to mark the original thread closed/resolved. My Canadian customers have a 6 character postal code with numbers and letters.

Are you going to fix this? We have the pro version btw.

    Thank you,
    Bill

    Hi @billrodgers,

Postal codes should automatically change requirements depending on the card number entered. This code is 100% controlled / loaded by Stripe. There isn’t any code that I can change.

Since you are using the Pro version, please contact me at https://wpplugin.org/contact/ if you need more support.

    Thanks,
    Scott

    Thank you Scott,

I know the API allows this and would suggest you still consider adding this as an option.

I tested with a real Canadian card instead of the test card numbers and it was working okay with the Canadian Postal Code. Customer asked me to hide it completely. In the meantime I will explain it being a security feature. If they still demand it hidden, I will have them log into their account and post it to the pro support area.

    Thanks again,
    Bill

    Hi @billrodgers,

    Glad it’s working.

Yes, Stripe does allow developers to hide the postal code field. I’ve been selling online for a lot of years and I decided to not make this an option for security. I know from experience that it really cuts down on fraud. I think that this is so important that I didn’t even make an option to remove the field. I understand that this might not be exactly what you want, but I truly believe that this is the right path for the plugin to follow.

    Thanks,
    Scott
