# [post_content_filtered] is empty

* I am trying to figure out how to get the content to show up in the email with
paragraph breaks. currently when I use [post_content] all of the content from
the post runs together in one giant paragraph. If I surround [post_content] like
this:
* `[post_content]
`
* then I get paragraphs, but some email clients don’t wrap the paragraphs at the
edge of the window AND it’s in the pre-formated mono-spaced font. Both of which
are bad things.
* Also, the images that are in the post are showing up broken in the email.
* I was hoping that [post_content_filtered] would either add paragraph tags to
the content or at least strip out the images, but it appears to do neither and
is in fact empty.
* Does anyone have any ideas for any workarounds?

Thanks for your message.
* You’ve come across something i’m hoping to fix in a plugin-wide bug fix release
in the very near future.
As the plugin has gone through a lot development recently,
being completely re-written for version 1 and had lots of new features added
in subsequent releases, i’m going to spend a bit of time testing everything and
seeing what I can find that needs fixing. This is one of those things.
* I’ll keep this ticket open until a bug fix release is out.
If you find anything
else in the meantime, please feel free to add to this thread.

* This is now fixed in the latest release, due out in the next week.
The fix stops
HTML formatting from being removed when using the `[post_content]` shortcode.
