Hi guys!

I’m brand new to WordPress having moved all my posts from the Blogger platform. So far so good.

I installed the Yoast free plugin and am in the process of tweaking all my SEO bits and bobs.

Having completed the Yoast wizard yesterday, I’ve made some changes in Yoast to how I want my results to appear.

My question is: do I need to run the wizard again (if so, how do I do that)? Or does does Yoadst sense the changes I’ve made and update the relevant search engines?

How long before the search engines reflect the tweaks I’ve made.

Hi Steve,

You do not need to run the Wizard again. You should make sure you submitted sitemaps to the search engines. This guide explains more: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/submit-sitemap-search-engines/

When you update a post/page Yoast will ping Google to come crawl the page you updated and then update the index with the new content.

With Google it can take sometime before the results appear. This guide explains more: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/6065812?hl=en
