# Post visibility on WordPress.com search reader

 * hi
 * i signed on yesterday for paid version of jetpack and with delight saw that my
   post is now visible on the search reader on wordpress.com (i.e. to the general
   public via search reader; i am not talking about the readers of followers).
 * since then i’ve tried to experiment with tags and categories while using them
   as search terms. entering tags and using them as search terms in the reader do
   not seem to make my post more visible. i.e. using the same words under ‘search’
   that i put in on the post as tags, the post does not show at all at under the‘
   date’ tab, under the time when it was published. it seems the only way to make
   my post visible at all is to use the exact same text as the title of my post.
   so unless a person searches with my exact post title as their search term, my
   posts will not be visible to them … is this correct?
 * how does one optimise one’s post visibility from a self-hosted wordpress.org 
   site with the paid jetpack subscription?

 * one last question, if i may? is there any difference in the visibility of posts
   on the wordpress.com reader between 1) those posted on a self-hosted wordpress.
   org site linked via paid jetpack subscription, and 2) a wordpress.com blog-post?
