# Post via e-mail

 * Hello
 * Please I’d like to ask about the Post via e-mail option.
 * I’ve set it like the following:
 * Mail Server : mail.prodesignations.com : port : 110
    Login Name: [email@prodesignations.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/post-via-e-mail-2/email@prodesignations.com?output_format=md)
   Password: Pass Default Mail Category : uncategorized
 * So now when I want to use my email client to post directly in my blog what shall
   I do!?

 * You simply send an email to [email@prodesignations.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/post-via-e-mail-2/email@prodesignations.com?output_format=md)(
   assuming that address is setup and has a valid POP3 account on mail.prodesignations.
   com and wordpress will POP the email and make it a post. You will probably have
   to setup a cron job to do this, manually tell it to pull your email, or use one

 * I do not know what is wrong but I’ve created the email on my website as mentioned
   and also set port but nothing appear in my blog when I send any email to this
   email.
 * What could be wrong?
