Post URL-button

  • Hi,

just installed WordPress 2.5.1, but can’t figure out how to use the Post URL-button.

I want to link my frontpage-images to the full article, but pressing the Post URL-button (in the WordPress admin) doesn’t seem to do that. The words ‘Post URL’ are added, but not the link itself. As a result, my images link to http://www.myblog.com/…./post%20URL!

Maybe I don’t understand what the Post URL-button is for… or maybe I am doing something wrong. Can somebody help me out?

  • The Post URL-button should work, right? Does anybody know?

Apparently, the Post URL-button only works in Firefox, but NOT in IE. One more bug to add to the buglist, I guess.

Anyway, my images now link to a page without text (only the image). Is there a way to add a permalink to an image, without copying it manually to the URL bar?
