All-in-One Event Calendar
Post type label, can we change it? (it's "ai1ec-event" by default) (2 posts)

Hi, I recently found ai1ec, and I have to say, great job!

I'm constructing a website, and I found that when I create an event, the permalink for the event page has "ai1ec-event" in the address. I'd rather that be "event" instead, and while I've found a hack to quickly change it (changing a line in the "all-in-one-event-calendar.php" file from "define( 'AI1EC_POST_TYPE', 'ai1ec-event' );" to "define( 'AI1EC_POST_TYPE', 'event' );"), I'd love to have this be something I can safely do within AI1EC's own settings.

    Thanks in advance!

You can refer my post from following url.

I'm successfully running my event pages without "ai1ec."
