Support » Plugin: Pods - Custom Content Types and Fields » Post Type (extended) Changed Pod Name to “Tribe Organizer”

I have a Pod that was called Sponsor. I’m not sure if an update to “The Events Calendar Pro” or to “Pods” caused an issue but now the Sponsor pod is called “Tribe Organizer” and it doesn’t work. It still shows the same fields when I edit the pod, and it still shows the area for “Sponsors” on the Event but the name of the pod is “Tribe Organizer” and I can’t save any new sponsors without getting an error. The error is “This field is required” and it’s requiring that I save the three fields that I created on the Pod, but when I fill them out, I get the error and it blanks out the fields. I think there’s a disconnect because the name of the pod changed.

Can I change the pod name? I’m hesitant to create a new pod and delete the “tribe organizer” pod because I don’t want to lose all my Sponsor information.

How do I prevent this from happening in the future?

    Thank you.

Also, I’m using the Say What plugin to change the Event taxonomy name “Organizer” to “Sponsor” which has not changed and worked before. I played with changing this to have the text change be from “Tribe Organizer” to “Sponsor” but that didn’t work.

    Hi @ratherthanrunning

Could to try to disable all plugins except Pods and TEC and see if the issue persists?
In a live site I’d advice you to do this with the troubleshooter plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/

    Cheers, Jory
