    Hey everyone,

I wanted to ask if anyone has found a solution to the problem I’m facing. Whenever I manually change the post type base slugs from English to another language and save them, it seems to work initially, but after a while, it reverts back to the automatic translation.

I reported this issue to support on April 30th, and on Monday, June 12th, I received feedback that they are still working on it. It’s been almost 9 weeks now, and I’m still waiting for a solution.

Thank you for the reply, but maybe I am misunderstanding the post type base slugs. What is the function of this setting?

Does any one know how long, on average it takes to get a answer from Translatepress?

    Hey fellow forum members,

I hope you’re all doing well. I’m here to vent my frustration and seek some assistance regarding an issue I’ve been facing with TranslatePress. I’ve reached out to their support team regarding the “Post Type Base Slugs” setting, but unfortunately, I haven’t received any response from them yet. It’s been quite some time, and I’m getting worried about the lack of support.

The problem is, I’ve been trying to configure this setting for my website, but I couldn’t find any detailed documentation on how to use it effectively. The lack of information in TranslatePress’s official documentation led me to contact their support team for clarification. Unfortunately, it’s been weeks, and I haven’t received a single response from them.

Has anyone else encountered this issue or managed to get “Post Type Base Slugs” working correctly with TranslatePress? If so, could you kindly share your insights and experiences with the setting? I would greatly appreciate any guidance or tips you might have.

Also, if any of you have a better understanding of what this setting is precisely meant to do, please enlighten me. I want to ensure I’m using it correctly and that it serves its purpose on my website.

Overall, I’m quite disappointed with the lack of support from TranslatePress, especially when dealing with what seems to be a critical feature for multilingual websites. As users, we depend on prompt and helpful assistance from the developers, and the silence is making it challenging for me to make progress.

Thank you in advance for any help or information you can provide regarding “Post Type Base Slugs” and your experiences with TranslatePress support. Let’s hope someone from their team sees this post and reaches out to resolve the issue promptly.
