post to this forum timed out – causing repeative posts

I was commenting on a question in the support forum. When I clicked on ‘send post’, the page came back saying ‘the connection to the server timed out. If it should not, please contact administrator”.
I went back on the browser and attempted to resubmit. got the same time-out.
I went back on the browser, corrected a simple grammar error. wait a few, then resubmit. This time it went through. But I had three posts for the same content now. Anybody experienced the same problem with this forum?

Bear with us. You’re getting a double-whammy… Not only are we getting hit hard with traffic (and the resulting time-outs and performance related stuff), but Akismet doesn’t seem to like you.

Every few hours (as time allows) I wander through the spam traps and turn loose the non-spam. Eventually it’ll learn.

Until then, accept my apologies and know that eventually the non-spam will get released!

thanks, at least now I know what to expect. I can’t find an obvious way to delete the duplicated ones myself. Shoudl I assume that’s by design?
