# Post-Title

 * Hi all,
 * I am having a slight “problem”.
 * The translation in my language is not very good and I have now created like 500
   events and the post-title looks disgusting.
 * I succeeded to remove the post title from all relevant pages where I and my customers
   won’t need it.
 * The only part of the ticketing where the post title is still visible is the cart
   and checkout page of WooCommerce. Is there a change to get rid of this ‘Event’:
   post_title. I can’t find it in code.

 * Sorry to hear that you are having issues with the titles. This is an excellent
   question, not only because it is an uncommon one, but also because it gives me
   the opportunity to explain how to remove those displayed values, which uses a
   common process for changing a lot of the output from our plugin.
 * Most of our plugin makes heavy use of ‘actions and filter’. As such, much of 
   the output of our plugin is controlled by either modifying an action/filter or
   modifying a template that you can override in your theme. In this case, you can
   fix this by removing a filter, during the site’s “init” action. To accomplish
   this, add something like this to your child theme’s functions.php file:
 *     ```
       function ot_remove_titles() {
         remove_action( 'woocommerce_get_item_data', array( 'qsot_post_type', 'add_event_name_to_cart' ), 10 );
         remove_action( 'woocommerce_order_item_meta_start', array( 'qsot_post_type', 'add_event_name_to_emails' ), 10 );
       }
       add_action( 'init', 'ot_remove_titles', 10 );
       ```
   
 * What this bit of code does is pretty straight forward, but I will explain it 
   anyways. Essentially, this code waits to run until the site has more or less 
   completely loaded, but before the site started drawing the output. At this point,
   it unregisters the code that adds that ‘Event:’ bit to the checkout. In addition,
   it also removes the code that adds the same line to the outbound completed order
   email (the second remove action), since it sounds like you do not want that one
   either.
 * You also mention that the translation for your language is not very good. If 
   you have corrections you would like to make, by all means, feel free to use [POEdit](https://poedit.net/wordpress)
   to modify the translation file with the corrections, if that is something you
   are willing to do. If you are willing to do that, once you complete the corrections,
   simply zip up that language PO file, and email it to [info@opentickets.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/post-title-19/info@opentickets.com?output_format=md).
   Once we receive it, it could be added to the software, as early as the next release.
