• i have installed wordpress on a sub domain and everything is working fine but the time is messed up 2 post on 7/15 and 7/16 and the time is the same for both post. I really do not know why it is doing that or how to fix it any help is appriciated. Thank You.

    thank you, but that is all set correctly, i reset it and it is still not showing the right time on the post.

    and i just realized it is like that on both of my blogs.

    then your server is in a diff time zone?

    you need to offset the wp timezone to compensate.

    Version 2.7 also has this problem.

    After installing v2.7 there was a first post, titled “Hello World!”, created by WordPress for my new site. The wordpress timezone after installation was set to UTC-5h.

    I changed the timezone in WP to what it should be.

    Then I revised that post in the morning (about 8 hours later).

    The revision history of that post still used a timestamp of UTC-5h (and WP said the post was written some number of hours ago, less than 8).

    I will try the Automatic Timezone plug-in to see if it acts as a workaround to this WP bug in the meantime.
