I was not able to get the image to switch from the WordPress default of 150×150 to my preferred dimension either instance. My shortcode is listed below. Under settings menu when you create the size you want then you use that alias name in the shortcode. So if you made an image size of 200px wide by 200px high and gave it a name of 200×200 then the shortcode would be size=’200×200′ or if you created a custom thumbnail size then it would be size=’nameofcustomsize’. I wanted to do a 600px by 400px image.
