Post Thumbnail List Help

I have a loop running on my main page that queries a category and displays one post, then on the same page in the footer I have a get_post list of what is supposed to be the same category but pulling up 20 thumbs with links to the appropriate posts.

Instead what is happening is the get_post is pulling one thumbnail and the correct links. So the links work, but the thumbnails are all the same instead of the individual post thumbs.
