# post thumbnail disappear

 * Hi All,
    I’ve one problem with post thumbnail. I used WP 3.4.2. I create a post
   with a thumbnail. Before that, I change the
 * > the_content()
 *  to
 * > the_excerpt()
 *  in the theme loop.
    ` Then I go to homepage (main frontpage), it’s only show
   the excerpt text…so, where’s my thumbnail?? When I change
 * > the_excerpt()
 *  to
 * > the_content()
 *  again, my frontpage shows the thumbnail, but the problem is the text appears
   too long or full article.
 * Anyone can show me how the direction to solve my problem?

 * I’m not sure what it’s called. I assume you see any magazines website fontpage,
   there were couple excerpt contents in small boxes with small thumbnail and little
   paragraph.

 * I use tweenty eleven for this learning. I modify the css and llittle html mark
   up. I installed wp related post plugin, but lately I uninstall it. Is that caused
   the problem? or there’s some function need to write on functions php?
