    Really odd. Anytime I create a page, the page’s text shows up in the ‘header-ish’ area of that page.

    See http://cachepolo.com/train

    Can you help me know why that is and what I can do to remove the text of the post from the area above the post?

    Please see this earlier thread as I believe this has been answered…

    … and mark this as resolved if so.

    TL/DR: Add an excerpt that summarizes your page in the editor. Then, it’ll appear there, look nice, and users and Google will like it.

    Can you help me know where to navigate (and the process) to add an excerpt that summarizes my page in the editor? I’m not sure how to get to that function.

    Eric

    PS: I navigate to Appearance>Additional CSS

    I’ve pasated the following code:

    #tophead-wrap {
    display: none;
    }
    .page-id-X header {
    display:none
    }

    And…the result is still a ‘double’ header: http://cachepolo.com/train/

    1) You need to (a) replace “X” with the page number and (b) target the correct selector.

    .page-id-389 .page-masthead .excerpt {
        display: none;
    }

    2) Can you please remove your comment from this resolved ticket?
