# Post style elements disappeared

 * I don’t know what’s happened here. I’m having a problem with the look of my blog
   when viewing it in Firefox (IE seems to be fine)
 * If you look at the main page of my blog using Firefox…

 * You’ll notice that the most recent post is fine. However, if you look at the 
   posts behind that and all the way down the page, you’ll see that the style elements
   in the header and category/date/author information are gone! I looked at the 
   page source and they seem to be there. The h2 tags and other things are where
   they should be, but they’re not displaying properly. If you click on a post and
   view it in single post mode, everything seems to be fine.
 * This just happened in the last couple of days. I visit my blog frequently and
   would have noticed it.
 * I’ve tried clearing my cache in Firefox and that doesn’t seem to help. I also
   upgraded my blog to 2.2, figuring I needed to do that anyhow. That didn’t make
   a difference either. I’ve also viewed the problem on multiple computers, so it’s
   not just my copy of Firefox.

   could have something to do with it. You’ve got 96 validation errors.

 * Thanks, but it’s highly unlikely that has anything to do with it. 75 of those
   errors are related to the diggIT plugin. Many of the remaining “errors” are questionable,
   and the vast majority are in text sidebar widgets anyhow. I view those so-called
   validators with a grain of salt.
 * Anyhow .. it’s fixed. I switched the most recent post over to “private” and found
   that suddenly all of the rest of the posts looked right again. When I re-published
   the post in question, everything remained fine. For some reason that fixed it.

 * Most likely an unclosed tag in that post. If your using the visual editor for
   your posts that’s most likely the culprit. Switch over to the code view and look
   for any unclosed tags.

 * Probably was. I looked at the code in that post and it was mess. I copied it 
   over from an online news release I’d distributed and didn’t realize how sloppy
   the code was. Regardless, it’s fixed.
