    Hello everybody,

the Gutenberg editor is used on a website (WP 5.4). Various extension plugins have been installed for this, including Stackable, with which the posts should be displayed.

All settings are correctly displayed in the preview in the backend. However, settings are ignored in the live front-end version. E.g. the word count is ignored by the excerpt (20 are set, the front end only stops after approx. 100 words) or the setting via the category (only posts from one category should be displayed, but posts from all categories are shown).

Is the problem and, above all, a solution known?

There are various other plugins installed, maybe there is something wrong?
E.g. each in the current version …
Atomic Blocks – Gutenberg Block Collection
    Block Lab
    Ghost kit
    Custom classes
    UpdraftPlus
    Yoast SEO

    Many thanks in advance!
    Best wishes
    Tim

    Hi Tim,
Thanks for the error report. We have been trying to replicate the issue in our end, but the problem doesn’t happen. We are using the latest version of WordPress (version 5.4) and PHP version 7.3.

Would you be able to send us a sample page containing the issue?

Hello and thanks for the feedback.

At the bottom of this page, the posts should be displayed with a short excerpt of 17 words. The view is correct in the backend. Almost 100 words are output in the frontend. In addition, only the last 2 posts should be displayed, but more will be displayed. https://schwarzlicht-cup.de/

Only submissions from a certain category should be displayed on a subpage, but all are displayed: https://schwarzlicht-cup.de/slc-tarmstedt-2020/

Thank you in advance and best regards!

    Hello everybody,
I was able to locate the error – the problem was individual overrides by the theme developer.

    Thank you for your efforts!
