Post publish time is wrong

  • Each time I publish a post, it says it was 8 hours ago – I have checked the local time settings in wordpress and they are fine – I changed it and re-saved it, still no change.

    Can you help me with this, or do you know if this is fixed in the ‘paid for’ version?

    Thanks

  • Hello

    There is no problem, instead of having the date, the code gives the time elapsed since the publication of the post, a selection of the author of the theme.
    <?php preus_posted_on(); ?> in content.php
    and folder js/jquery.timeago.js

    same in the paid version

    You can create a child theme, then put in content.php
    and replaced the code
    <?php preus_posted_on(); ?>
    by

    <span class="posted-on"><i class="fa fa-clock-o"> </i> <?php the_time('l, F jS, Y') ?></span>
    <span class="byline"><i class="fa fa-user"> </i> <?php the_author(); ?></span>
