Support » Fixing WordPress » Post processing bug WP2.5 WHERE to squash it?

  • I am using Andrew Sutherland’s ‘Democracy’ poll plugin to include polls into posts. The coding that calls the plugin in the post is {democracy:3}. When I save the post the TinyMCE 3 editor returns this: \n<div>{democracy:3}</div>\
Similarly, the FCKeditor produces a variant \<div>n<div>{democracy:3}</div></div>\. Where in the php form processing do I need to look to fix this bug. Is there a patch for this?

The plugin works in WP 2.3.3 without placing n and extraneous div’s around the on page code.

Any advice on this bug hunt will be gratefully received. Thanks
