Post Problem

When using the code:
<?php query_posts(‘order=ASC’); ?>
To display the posts in the order they are made (ie newest post last – opposite to general blog standards i kow, but i need it)

This is causing all posts to be shown in every category!! Am I doing something silly or is thins known? Is there a solution?

(being done on archive.php)

Please help.
