• After hours of working with my host after a mySQL server crash, I finally managed to get one of my blogs back up and running correctly.

I thought all was well until I went to do a post this morning and I noticed that the “Post Preview” in WP 2.0 is not functioning correctly. The template loads, but where the post should be says; “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.”

Note that the post WILL PUBLISH, and once published the post will display in this preview window. Just anything that is NOT PUBLISHED is not showing a preview.

Anyone have an idea on this one?

  • Try logging out then delete the wp-content/cache folder.

I have had similar problems with post preview not working just as described above. I renaming the cache folder to “oldcache” and that didn’t help. WordPress generated a new cache folder, but the problem remained.

To be clear: I have had no server crash or anything like that. All I did was upgrade to WP 2.0.

I deleted the cache folder and I still get the same.

“Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.”

scott: I figured out what this problem was. Somehow in my main wordpress options, the URL of my blog was not showing the “www” and just http://domain.com . Not sure how that data was corrupted, but after switching that back to http://www.domain.com , the problem was solved. Maybe this will help you.
