My problem is that on some computers the text entry field never shows up, leaving readers with no way to enter the password.
Any ideas?
might help if you actually gave us the password for that test post in order for us to test it…
billdennis – please give us an example?
ah my mistake, the password is:
itslove
Ah…
The site is http://peoriapundit.com/blogpeoria
The password is “smith”
bill – i got it to work on your site, but only when using IE, didn’t work in FF – however in both, on a PC, the text box showed up fine…
housepoet – i didn’t get it working on your site in either IE or FF
the odd thing is that housepoet’s site validates HTML but peoriapundit is having a major issue with something and it’s UTF encoding?
if it were me, i’d go through my plugins list, and disable them one by one, testing afterward, to see if one of them might be the culprit. since the pw protect feature isn’t a plugin itself, it might just be that a plugin you might’ve installed isn’t cooperating with your current version of wordpress…
I have the same problem, when I enter the password (password was verified) the page just refreshes and it doesn’t enter the post.. Any help would be really great!!!
