Post Page Layout Question

    Go to Settings -> Reading. Select “A Static front page” option and choose the page you want to display, you can use any page of your choice or you can make a new page. The page will display the post which you want to display on the homepage.

    ALthough you can not set Posts as Static Front Pages. It has be be a page. You could add anything about your site on the static front page.
