 * Hi All,
 * I have worked out how to turn off the visual editor, but WP still seems to be
   not showing ALL my html, like <_p_> tags. Can I set it to use a pure text editor,
   as if using notepad for example. I would like complete control over every single
   ascii character, and WP doing nothing.

 * Well, as it is even with the non-wysiwyg editor WP adds some basic formatting:
   
   1xEnter = br 2xEnter = p To let it make the least “intrusion” uncheck in Options
   > Writing > “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically”.
