    Hi….

I’m using wp 2.3.1 and i got an important problem. So, when i publish a post (i change the original time of that post via Edit Timestamp at that moment before clicking the “publish” button ), and i don’t know why, that post doesn’t appear in the front of my blog, but just appear in the admin area only.

If the time of that post isn’t changed (at that moment before clicking the “publish” button or changed after publishing the post), then that post is appear in the front of my blog.

So, please tell me how to fix it !

  • What are you editing the timestamp to? If you are editing to the future, the post won’t appear until that time arrives. If you are editing to the past, the post will appear farther back in your blog’s archives.

Thanks for your reply, but i’m editing the post to the past, of course it will make the post appear farther back, so it make me confuse 🙁

Yesterday, I installed a new 2.3.1 blog, which caused the Hello World Post to be dated Nov 14, 2007. Today, I wrote another post, it was dated Nov 15, 2007, and it appeared first on my blog and first in my Admin->Manage->Posts screen.

Then I did Manage->Post on the Nov 15, 2007 blog and changed the date to January, 1, 2007 and Saved. That blog then displayed at the bottom of the list in Manage->Posts, and it appeared below the other post on my blog.
