Post not opening and gutenberg editor freezes when I use reusable shortcode TOC

    Hello
    If I insert the shortcode [ez-toc] in the Gutenberg editor through the reusable block, then the posts stop opening. Show 500 error. The errors in the log are:

    [26-Mar-2023 18:03:15 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 1073741824 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 135168 bytes) in /home/c1866/*****/www/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 612
    [26-Mar-2023 18:03:15 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 1073741824 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 81920 bytes) in /home/c1866/*****/www/wp-includes/option.php on line 535

    If I disable the plugin then everything is loaded. WordPress 6.1, PHP 7.4

    Hi, Sorry for the inconvenience extremely. Can you please check once if its due to any conflict? If possible, Kindly please check once by deactivating the active plugins once by one on your site and let us know back which one is causing the issue? So that we will test the same and assist you accordingly to fix the issue.

    Hi, Sorry for the above response. It is a valid issue, For this I’ve raised the GitHub ticket in our repository. We will fix this issue in coming updates and once it gets done then we will get back to you with an update soon.

    Hi, We fixed this bug in the latest update 2.0.47. Kindly update the TOC plugin to the latest version and let us know back if you still face the issue So that we will assist you accordingly.
