Hi. I have made a child theme with Ridizain as the parent. I reduced the width of the secondary (left) sidebar, increased the #content width and also increased the width of the right sidebar.

The links for category, author, and date, and the edit-link, do not work now. The post navigation (next-previous post links) do work but in a peculiar way – I have to hover somewhat to the right of the text of what should be the link in order to hit the link. I therefore believe that the problem has something to do with my having shifted the sidebar and content divs to the left, but I cannot figure out how to fix it.

Any help you could provide would be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance!

    Hello,

Could you link to the site so that I have something to work with and see what needs adjusting to resolve the issue for you?

Hi! I replied by email but wasn’t sure that would work, so here goes:
First, thank you for that fast response! And I should have included the link the first time.

    Hi,

Had a look at the site and the source code.

The problem is that in your CSS code to remove the left sidebar you only targeted the #secondary element where else you should be targeting both .site:before and #secondary.

What is happening right now is that the .site:before element is still overlaying the content and thus covering those elements that a not clickable. Once you include the .site:before element in your code you should be golden 🙂

Let me know if that makes sense and if it resolves the issue for you.

    Regards,

Zulf, that did it. Thank you so much – this is great. I spent hours on it and just couldn’t figure it out. I really appreciate your help!
