I’m using the Luminescence Lite theme to build a site but I want to show a menu of posts on every page in the side bar not just on the posts page. can I do that? A number of my pages are static pages.
Alternatively how can I create an item on the main menu that enables the site visitor to view the list of posts in the sidebar?
    Thanks
    Tony

Hi Tony…not quite sure what you are wanting to do, but if I understand you correctly, you want your “recent posts” to show up on “pages” and not just “posts”? If this is correct, your list of recent posts widget (Recent Posts) will have to be duplicated, one for the Blog Sidebar and one for the Page Sidebar. Drag one into each of the widget positions noted.

I believe based on your second question, the above will also answer it. WordPress has a widget that displays recent posts, as well, even one for listing all pages. Both will look like a vertical menu type list of links.

Hi there I followed your example and it worked perfectly, just what I wanted.
Thanks for your prompt response, really appreciated.

Hi Tony… no worries. I’m glad to hear it worked out for you.

Although not a requirement, any star rating or review would be great so I can keep track of how I’m doing 🙂

No problem, how do I do that?

Cool! Thanks… on the theme page where the description is, you will see a “Review” tab. Click on that. Or, click here:

    Done! 🙂
