 * How do I control the number of posts on my homepage without deleting older ones.
   Eventually my blog is going to take a long time to load with so many posts on
   the homepage.
 * Ideally my blog would have 4-5 excerpt posts on the homepage and a “next page”
   link at the bottom that would point to another page with older posts. Is this
   possible?

 * Based on a few post’s I’ve read, wordpress defaults to 10 posts on the homepage.
   How do I modify this value?
