I went back to previous version until this issue is resolved.
New version of Customizr or WordPress? Noone else has this problem. Does it occur with all your plugins deactivated and with no child theme?
Yes I have wordpress 3.8 and all plugins have been deactivated and it still doesnt show any images in post or featured image area when creating a post.
Seems like when image is added to media the size is 1px by 1px not sure what is causing the images to import at this size.

I am having this problem as well and it also doesn’t work when I deactivate plugins and my child theme. I thought it was an upload issue at first but when I look at my page with ie8 the picture is there. I am usually using the most recent version of Chrome. I am also using 3.8 and Customizr 3.1.5
What happens if you disable retina support in Customiz’it > Images?
I unchecked the options for lightbox and the other one. There was no option for the retina display. Once I turned them off there was still no images showing in post or featured image.
also when i upload an image it doesn’t show the image thumbnail in the media tab of wordpress.
What version of Customizr are you using?
Does it happen with the twentytwelve theme active?
I just updated to 3.1.6 today and I added a new post and when I view it under the visual it only shows a blinking vertical line. Then when I view it in text mode it shows the image entered but with width set to 1px and height set to 1px. Not sure whats going on.
The post “Building a website” is set as a status update. Are images allowed in status updates? (I’m not sure.) Try making it standard.
Just posting to get follow-up alerts as my media library thumbnails have also disappeared (in v3.1.5 and 3.1.6).
