    Hi there,

I’ve downloaded the Block Patterns for Food Bloggers plugin and I have the Foodica theme. I’m having trouble customizing the patterns to suit which posts I want displayed. If I go to replace any image, it changes all 3 at the same time and only displays my 3 recent posts to begin with. How do I customize the post grid to display the posts I want them to?

    Thanks!

    Hello @hiphipgourmet

We use the Query Loop bloc from WordPress to display patterns that include posts.

This block includes many options, but you need to make sure to choose the “Query Loop” block to see all its available options.

Once you select the right block, you can change the number of posts a pattern/block displays. You can also configure a block to display only posts from a specific category (categories).

Please keep in mind that you will need to go to the Posts section in admin to make changes to those posts. You can’t edit posts directly while previewing them in the pattern. Query Loop is a dynamic block, so you can’t make changes to the content of posts shown, but only to the structure/template of that section.

You can learn more about this block here:
