    Hey Guys,
I am looking to get started in WordPress and am not sure where to start. I am a photographer and want to move my gallery over to WordPress.
My question is, is there a theme or a plugin that will allow me to when I make a post with an image, tag it so that it is automatically added to a specific gallery page My ultimate goal is to only have to have numerous galleries populated by images uploaded in my posts.

    I hope this makes sense.

Thanks in advance for your help

There are numerous gallery plug ins for WordPress, one of the easiest (and this may not do what you want it to do) is already built in to wordpress. To access it go to a post or a page and go to insert images, then upload more than 1 or 2 images, once they are uploaded press "save changes" and then up at the top of that little window will be a "Gallery [number of images]" link. Click that and then at the bottom of that window click "Add gallery". After you do that a big box with a dotted border will appear in your post/page. This is WordPress's Gallery Feature. To view your gallery publish your post or your page and the images will be in columns and rows.

Other than that, there is NexGen gallery ...and then after that, I'm not too sure. I'd check out the WordPress plugin gallery and search for gallery.

I hope this helped a little bit
